With the latest jdk, go to Table Demo, with Java Look and Feel selected, switch to the High Contrast Theme. Now tab into any editable field in the Table Demo.

Result:
Notice that the text is whited out.

Expected Result:
Expect Text to remain black, in front of the white background.
