When running in the "C" locale on Solaris 2.6 the file.encoding property
is set to "ISO8859-1" which appears to be the intended value.
However, the same property is set to "646" when running the same
Java version on Solaris 2.7. This has been shown on 1.2, 1.2.2, 1.3rc1
Problem/inconsistency is caused by a bug fix in Solaris 2.7 which
corrects invalid behaviour of the nl_langinfo() system call.
This causes a StreamCorruptedException in some cases.
