During isntallation of the latest Java Solaris Plugins, production version, on Solaris 8 the following error message is being generated:

Installation of <SUNWj2pi.2> failed.
No changes were made to the system.

This error is coming from checkinstall script since the defaults are given as:
REL_LIMIT="5"
REV_LIMIT="7"


Please, provide a solution for Solaris 8 installation of Java Plugins 1.2.
