When Running demo program in demo/jfc/Stylepad with merlin build 18,
there is a Chinese Display problem.

Running the demo with java1.3, the display is OK.

The detailed info:

I test two Chinese platforms in Solaris 2.8 ,
 1. user.language is zh and file.encoding is gb2312,
 2. user.language is zh and file.encoding is GBK

The display problem appears in these two platforms, but
the phenomenon are NOT same. See attached files.

By running demo/jfc/Stylepad, was able to reproduced this bug with zh_CN.EUC (GB2312) in merlin b23.

Not able to reproduce this bug with zh_CN.GBK (GBK) in merlin b23. Used demo/jfc/Stylepad.
