The /test/java/awt directory has tests (probably just those that are run
using shell scripts) that check which OS the test is being run on.
These scripts don't have entries for Linux or Windows2000. They may not
have entries for Windows98 (should check this). This could cause the
tests to pass automatically (i.e., not run).
