The ButtonDemo creates a new LayoutControlPanel for each tabbed pane. The problem arises in the LayoutControlPanel which uses the method getCurrentControls to retrieve the controls from the ButtonDemo. Since the first tab is selected the text buttons are always the current controls and the remaining tabs will not have their controls aligned until the user changes the alignment.
