with the latest merlin build b32 not all images are showing up in browser.
this is an issue with both netscape and IE5.0 on NT after a few pages of images not showing up this exception was thrown.

steps to reproduce:
go to merlin b32 browser testing page:

start going through pages for the BeetleApplet test, after a few pages of images not showing up get the above exception.

I have confirmed this bug. From my experience, images don't show up the majority of the time but you might be able to get one page to display the images properly, but it's not consistent.

Re-assigning to Java Plug-In because

1) The "SocketException" looks more like a plug-in issue than it is with Swing.
2) The images show up when I run the pages on a stand-alone JEditorPane application.

Have not been able to verify this bug, due to another plugin bug. the jre/space bug. I will kick this back to dispatch until I get a build that is testable.
I will do a jre only install of 42-when it comes out, to verify this bug.
