A large percentage of the applets that are failing are accompanied by
JavaScript error messages.
Bring up Netscape 6. Open up the Java console. Open up the JavaScript console.
The JavaScript console, in particular, will register some errors.

1.1. Under "Service & Support", click on "Technical Assistance Center".
1.2. Under "Escalate", click on "Support Contacts".
1.3. "Click on the "Talk To Us Now" graphic.
1.4. A "Browser Identification Wizard" will run in a frame on the right. This
is the applet. If it runs successfully, it will disappear and you will
see a "Browser Identification Report" from the "Webline Communications
Corporation" that indicates that "Your Web browser meets the minimum
requirements for a WebLine session sharing complex content."
2. Navigate to http://www.oracle.com/viewhow2/ . This page seems to be
accessible about 50% of the time. The problem is on Oracle's end. If
you have trouble getting to this site, go to another qarbon viewlet site
(see below).
2.1. Click on any of the nine instances of the word "Demo". All of these
demos come from Qarbon (http://www.qarbon.com).
2.2. This should bring up a screen that explains how to use some Oracle product.
3. Navigate to http://www.qarbon.com/viewlets2go/
3.1. Click on "Netscape PR2 - A Look at Themes." All you have to do is watch.
The applet ran on Windows but failed on Sparc/Solaris, Intel/Solaris, and
Intel/Linux.

to do is watch. The applet ran on Windows but failed on Sparc/Solaris,

to do is watch. This applet failed to run on all platforms tested.
