Mnemonics keys were added since build 8 and need improvements since there
are quite a few problems:
1. On Application Manger main window, Alt-F will show File menu, now you
press down arrow, the off-line will be highlghted, you press down arrow
again, the focus is jumped to group selection.
2. sometimes, in file menu, off-line and exit hot keys are not working. Try
it right after you have installed a new copy of JavaWS and when you first
time run it.
3. Still in Application Manager, When user press Alt-G, now user is selecting
which group to display. The general way of select menu works like this:
user press down arrow, the menu is pulled down, in that menu, user can use
up/down arrow to navigate and press enter to select the desired. The current
approach is not good. (Similar cas happens on file save/open window, look
in directory pulldown menu.)
4. In Preference panel, there should be hotkey for cancel and ok.
5. For Unix/Linux General preference panel, hotkey for browser path is missing.
6. In preference->java panel, when user press tab to navigate, the focus is
stuck in the jre table, user can never jump out. even after I press alt-d
to get focus to default menu, the next tab key stroke will bring me back
to the table.
7. In JRE finder window, there is no hotkey for the buttons.
8. In advance panel, when user press alt-c to bring clear cache window, then
use tab to navigate to cancel, the press enter, the cache IS CLEARED!
9. In help window, there should be hotkey for ok button of each function.
10. When starting javaws for the first time, javaws will ask for proxy setting,
there is no hotkey for ok button.
11. For File service, such as save/open, there is no focus for the poped
advisory windows. There is no hot keys either.
That's all so far I have found.
