Well... should be 1.3 but installation failed

I've read your installation guide and followed every steps already, the Linux
JDK1.3 installation shell script failed to run, error message:

      "./j2sdk-1_3_0-linux-rpm.sh: more: command not found
'/j2sdk-1_3_0-linux-rpm.sh: line 182: syntax error near unexpected token `in
       '/j2sdk-1_3_0-linux-rpm.sh: line 182: ` case $reply in"

i found out in 2nd line of your shell script set the PATH wrongly so can't find
"more" but only solve the first problem. still can't get the shell script to
      run.

Then i read your shell script and performed a
      "tail +255 j2sdk-1_3_0-linux-rpm.sh > install.sfx.$$"
manually, and resulted in a file which checksum is different from the one
specified in the shell script. i tried to execute the resulting file anyway and
      get a message like this:

      "BUG IN DYNAMIC LINKER ld.so: dynamic-link.h: 57: elf_get_dynamic_info:
Assertion `! "bad dynamic tag"' failed!"

If you guys are kind enough to package the JDK in a tar.gz or rpm format i'm
already using the latest JDK already...

      thank you for your time
