Tested with ladybird b03 on WinNT/Win2000/Win98 Japanese
java version "1.3.1ea"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.1ea-b03)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.3.1ea-b03, mixed mode)
Excuting some applets and colsing mozilla, the process of mozilla.exe still remains and java console remains displayed and Duke also remains displayed on the bar at the bottom which "start menu" is on.
Mozilla can not start again unless mozilla.exe dies.
WinNT and Win2000:
mozilla.exe existing can be confirmed on "Task Manager".
Killing the process of mozilla.exe is needed.
Win98:
"Ctrl Alt + Delete" makes a dialog for "forced ending for programs" displayed.
Killing Java Console is needed.
To reproduce,
1. Install Mozilla on Windows.
2. Install jdk1.3.0_01 fcs version.
3. Go to the URLs below and excute some applets.
http://sqesvr.eng.sun.com/deployment1/ws/doc/proc/JPI_inoutdemos.html
http://sqesvr.eng.sun.com/deployment1/ws/doc/proc/JPI_OJI.html
4. Close Moziila.
Then, you can see the phenomenon descripted above.
