merlinb36-Look & Feel menu not updating-black when windows l&f selected

      Description:
      with the latest SwingSet2 Demo, change the L&F for Windows notice that the menuitem drop down is black.

      Tried this on win2000, and win98, and the result is the same-black menuitem drop down.
