      No Japanese showed up during SymbolTest execution on Turbo Linux WS6.0 in ja locale/KDE.

      Steps to reproduce:
      1. Install j2sdk1.3.1-ea b03 on Turbo Linux WS6.0 in ja locale/KDE
      2. Invoke SymbolTest

      We could not type Japanes during SwingSet2 Test execution on Turbo Linux WS6.0 in ja locale/KDE.

      Steps to reproduce:
      1. Install j2sdk1.3.1-ea b03 on Turbo Linux WS6.0 in ja locale/KDE
      2. Invoke SwingSet2
      3. Try to typ Japanes

      You only see sqares on SymbolTest and SwingSet2
