The point is that I'm trying to install the latest plugin and don't care....

When hit Java Plug-In html in Netscape, it says it can install the plugin
for me if I wish. I wish so--make it so.... Alas, it sends me to a page
on java.sun.com where it says I need to download the entire JRE 2, and
the Java plugin is inside there.

As it happens, I'm a developer, and I already have jdk1.3 installed. And
when I look there for how to plug in the plugin, it sends me to the same
dratted page on java.sun.com.

You've made it extremely difficult to install the plug-in! I have no idea
how to do it now. And am really uninspired to put users through this.
