If you select Draw Method:DrawBytes and set the Font to Dialog or DialogInput with Unicode Base 4e00, Western characters show up on solais sparc 8, whereras some squires on Win2000. Is it a default setting to test Japanese font?
Steps to reproduce:
Install jdk1.4 b36 on Solaris Sparc 8 32 bit and Win2000 in ja_locale
Invoke Font2DTest
Change Unicode to Other
Change Unicode Gase to 4e00
Select DrawBytes for Draw Method
