Ran Swingset with Merlin build 36. Ran the Split Pane demo. I was not
able to put the cursor in any of the three JTextFields at the bottom of
the demo.

Does not occur with WindowsNT. Occurs with both Sparc and x86 Solaris.
Didn't test Linux.
