Found while testing "Dynamic Desktop Properties Update". App used: SwingSet2 demo.
Steps to reproduce:
------------------
1. Run the SwingSet2 app.
2. Got Control panel and open "Display".
3. Select "Appearance" tab.
4. Select "Active Window Border" in Item combobox, change Color to a dark one (for visibility sake)
5. Change Size to 2. Apply the change, bring SwingSet2 to focus to see the change. You should see the emrgence of a horizontal and a vertical line going from length & breadth of the active Window. In another machine, it looked like the outer frame is breaking at the points where the lines would cut them.
6. If you missed it, increase Size and you should see them.
Platforms tested:Found in 2 Win2000 machines and are very visible; in winNT, not that visible, but exists
