copy the content of /net/sqesvr.eng/export/vsn/GammaBase/Bugs/<bugid> to a directory accessible by a pc (I am runing: Dual 600 PIII WinNT, It also happens when one of those procs is disabled.)

 make sure java_g map to the latest jdk1.4/bin/java_g
 map U: -> \\sqesvr\vsn
 execute doit.bat from your pc directory.

 Not reproducible with 1.3.1.

 To reproduce the assert add the following hotspot flags to your java_g command line:
   -XX:+ScavengeALot -XX:ScavengeALotInterval=1000
