Applications dont exit if ALT+F4 or (mouse click the 'x' button on Frame window)

All Swing text cases fail to respond to "ALT+F4" to close main Frame and exit. Test cases also fail to respond to mouse clicking the X button on frame window to exit.

To reproduce this bug:
1- Compile and run the following code under WinNT or Win98(English/Arabic/Hebrew)
2- Once application is displayed on screen, use ALT+F4 to close it
3- Note that application does not respond
4- Use the mouse to close and exit frame. Press X button at top right corner
5- Note that application does not exit
6- On the prompt do "CTRL+C". Note tyhat application exit
