We've download the new 1.3 Java Plug-In software for our developing, our OS is
Windows98(Chinese) and Windows NT4.0(Chinese),after we installed the software,
we find the Plug-in control panel can't be started in the control panel, and
the Applet can't use the JRE 1.3 in Internet Explorer, as I check the Registry
Form of Windows, I find that the registry key in the Form is wrong, the install
program create a new key in the 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE'-'SOFTWARE'-JAVASOFT'
item,the new is in Chinese, not the right key 'Java Plug-in',so the browser
can't recognize the JRE enviroment variable, and can't execute Applet
correctly.
Another Problem is when we correct the key item in the registry form, and the
Applet can execute with JRE1.3, the default Input Method is set to Chinese, we
hope the default Input method remains English, can you solve this problem soon?
