orig synopsis: "grammar error (typo) in java documentation"
The url of the page is:
http://java.sun.com/products/jdk/1.3/docs/api/javax/swing/JTextPane.html
The error is located in the first real paragraph of the page.
Just under the second horizontal rule.
The paragraph reads: (note error marked with $$$s)
A text component that can be marked up with attributes that are represented
graphically. This component models paragraphs that are composed of runs of
character level attributes. Each paragraph may have a logical style attached to
it which contains the default attributes to use if $no$ overriden by attributes
set on the paragraph or character run. Components and images may be embedded in
the flow of text.
I assume it should read "not" rather than "no".
Hope this helps.

PS. I have great admiration for your company for the support you give the free
software movement. Keep up the great work.
PPS. It would be nice if it were a little easier to submit such web-page 'bug'
reports - the amount of irrelevant contextual info required is a tad
discouraging.
