The new Swing facility to provide auditory feedback causes the audio device to
become unavailable for use in other VMs. Running a test program that displays
a JOptionPane which produces auditory feedback causes the same program running
in a separate VM to get an exception when it attempts to produces audio
output. It seems that the VM only gives up the audio device when it exits.
