Since SOCKS 4 support is already in the PlainSocketImpl source code, please add
SOCKS 5 support with username and password authentication. GSSAPI support is
not required, and is not supported by most SOCKS 5 clients in any case. See
RFC 1928 for SOCKS 5 Protocol, and RFC 1929 for SOCKS 5 Username/Password
authentication. Also, support for 4A would allow connection to hosts whose
DNS name is known, but whose IP address cannot be resolved.
