This problem has been seen on solaris 9 build 25 and build 27 on sparc and intel platforms. To reproduce problem please go to java.sun.com using netscape 6 browser on solaris 9 system. The browser will hang and crash. We have tried this on other external pages that have java applets and have seen the same result.
