Selecting Styles before typing doesn't work on Japanese.

XMLWordPrintable

    • x86, sparc
    • linux, solaris_2.6, windows_nt

      * This test is done using jdk1.2.2_007 on WIN95, NT4, Sparc 6, and Redhat 6.1.
      * All Japanese locale.
      * $file = /home/to116297/Fuji/Fuji08112000/fj_new/testset/awt/swing

      It is reproducable on 1.3.0 fcs.

      Selecting "Style-FontSize" "Style-FontStyle" before inputting characters doesn't work in Japanese (works in English, except "Style-FontStyle". It doesn't work for English on Solaris2.6 either).

      Repro Steps:

      1. Excute JTextPaneTest
      3. Select FontSize or FonSytle under Style menue.
      4. Type Japanese on the text.
      5. The Size/Style you selected doesn't work on the characters you entered.

      Please try the same steps for English characters. Selecting "Style-FontSize" before inputting characters works for English characters.
