Win32 and Linux install into directories which mach the following
pattern: jdkX.X.X and jreX.X.X where X are the release number
components.
Solaris installs into directories which match the following
pattern: j2sdkX_X_X and j2reX_X_X
These two should be replaced by a consistent naming convention that
should spell out ALL the version install issues.
- how to handle .0 releases
- how to handle patch release (1.3.1_001 type releases)
- how to handle JRE installs (do not use the Micro release)
======================================================================
Verified in build 80 JDK1.4
Windows bundle also follow the j2sdkX_X_X and j2reX_X_X convention.
