Customer has installed a lot of software using different versions of Java :
      1.1.7, 1.1.8, 1.2.1, 1.3

In some circumstances (software installation's order) the link is not
appropriate and the software installation can corrupt the Java version
already installed and the others softwares can't run anymore without
      a complete Java re-installation.

Customer wanted a way to have :
      - Software able to run with new Java version which means backward compatibility
      or
      - Use another way than a link in /usr to make software to be able to find its
        appropriate Java version.

I have tried to install Solstice AdminSuite 3.0 (same with 3.0.1) on a Solaris 8
HW 11/00 and I got the following :
JDK 1.1.7 is not installed on the target system.
You must install JDK 1.1.7 before you install AdminSute 3.0.
      The installation is being terminated.....
