The 1.2.2_08 build done Friday last passed on Sparc but
failed on Intel. This message misled me and I did not look at the
build logs. Today, I was looking for test results from that build
and that is when I noticed this.
There has been some mess-up in this C file that has caused this
build/compilation failure. (we will have a lot of discussion to
do in next week's meeting)
I am currently working on resolving this by setting up a new
workspace off the integration and making specific changes
to that file (using _07a as the base).
For more info on this error, please see the logs in
/net/nightsvr/exp4/122_nightly/logs/2001_01_26/errors_i386
The erring file that does not compile is
src/share/javavm/compilers/jit/JITLoopOptimize.c
and it has some wierd looking code in lines 966 onwards.
