I am running NT 4 with SP6 & JDK 1.3
Java works fine except for swing
If I log in as administrator I can run the following url with no problem
http://www.java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/uiswing/start/HelloSwingApplet.html
HOWEVER if I log in as a normal user the swing applet does not run
My work centres around sysdiffing applications and I can see no reason - disk or
registry why swing does not work in ie5.
Our students wish to use swing for their project work & I can see no solution
I have tried using Netscape & have the same problem
Is their something I have not done or need to set??

When you say the swing applet does not run, what do you mean. What
messages or activity do you see in the browser? If you can provide
additional info, that would really help.
