The bug is reproducible on Merlin build 51 and prior, on any platform.
Run SwingSet2, go to JTable tab.
Make the Combobox in the 'FavoriteColor' column appear partly
visible at the bottom and click it. The the item drop-down list will
appear lower than it should leaving a noticeale gap. To make the
bug more apparent slide 'Row height' to max.
Another relevant issue: scroll all the way to the bottom. Click at
the JCombobox to bring up a list of colors. Then without clicking anywhere else
change the row height using the slider. Note that as the row height grows the
selected checkbox stays at one place.
And the last one: set row height to max, click any JCombobox in the
table, then change row height to normal and click any other JCombobox -
the list will appeare at the wrong place. The only way to get it back
to normal is to set row height to the same size when it first was brought
up.
