java(TM) Plug-in Version 1.3.0_01

When loading an Applet I get the following message from Netscape 4.x :

"Unable to obtain proxy configuration from Netscape Navigator 4.0x - fallback"

I use manual proxy-settings in NS. It seems that it posts the same message in
NS 4.3 and 4.5 too. IE5.x works just fine.

I have also tried installing jre1.3.1beta resulting in the same message.

It still loads the applet after I've hit the ok button, so it turns out just to
be very irritating...
