Running a Swing application on Windows I noticed that the fonts did not look like those specified in my Windows desktop properties. The problem is that Windows by default uses "MS Sans Serif". Trying to create a font of type "MS Sans Serif" returns a default font of type "Lucida Sans". Lucida Sans does not look like MS Sans Serif, thus the L&F can't look like Windows.
