While running one of our Swing tools, the following error message was raised:

To reproduce, bringover the following tool:

/net/sqesvr/export/jfc/Merlin_ws/Functional/Tex

Just execute:

% sh runnit.sh auto


At the end of the run, the above error appears.

It started on Merlin-beta b54 and it seems to only happen on Solaris Sparc. I did it on Sol 2.8
