Hotspot crashes consistently with the following error using the latest
promoted build (merlin-54)

There is no core file or log.

To reproduce the crash, launch the swingset as shown above.

After the first demo loads, click on the source code tab for that demo.

It will switch to that tab, say it is loading the source code,
and then it will crash.

Actually, it crashed a lot during our integration (I tested with the
promoted build to make sure it wasn't us). The method for reproducing
this (above) is just one way.

Another way: click on the JProgressBar demo, click the "Start Loading Text"
button. It will crash in a second or so. The crash always seems to have the
same hotspot ID (probably a good thing).

My machine is gradgrind It is a sparc 2.7 - not a creator.

I have all the required patches for 1.4.
