When a SwingSet demo is loaded into the
browser(IE4 ) using Plug-in Merlin
build 55/56 .Kills the browser and also
the system display .

To reproduce the problem :

1. Install Java Plug-in Merlin build 55/56 on Windows 98 1 st Edition
2. Run SwingSet Demo from the follwoing URL in IE4 .
   http://java.sun.com/products/plugin/demos/SwingSet2Applet.html

3. The applet gets loaded into the browser
4. Choose the JTabbedPane opotion in the options menu tool bar.
5. Browser gets killed and also crashes the system display , Needs to
   reboot the system to get it into normal.
