      java version "1.3.0_02"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.0_02)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.3.0_02, mixed mode)

With the 1.3.0_01 Plugin, the plugin could co-exist wih the 1.1.6 plugin. By
deleteing one dll (NPJava130_01a.dll) in the netscape plugins directory,
Netscape would use the old 1.1.6 dll (NPJava32.dll) to run Java 1.1 applets and
      the newer 1.3.0_01 dlls (NPJava130_01b.dll & NPJava130_01c.dll) to run Java 2
applets (Note: In some instances Netscape would use the NPJava32.dll even
without deleting the NPJava130_01a.dll). This is particularly important for
companies that have installed bases with both older Java 1.1 implementations,
and newer Java 2 implementations that choose to support their old customers
      (hint, hint).

The 1.3.0_02 Plugin changes its naming convention of its dlls to overwrite the
1.1.6 plugin. Even if the 1.3.0_02 NPJava32.dll is replaced with the 1.1.6
NPJava32.dll the plugins cannot co-exist. The desired behavior would be for
the two versions of Java plugins to co-exist like they were able to with
      1.3.0_01.
