The API documentation for javax.rmi.CORBA.Util.isLocal() indicates that a RemoteException is thrown if the Stub is not connected to an ORB. This is incorrect, as no such requirement is made of this API in the specifications. Moreover, the current implementation in the JDK, does not throw this exception
in this case.
