As per W-Team request I am logging this stooper bug.
Basically, all the Java apps in CDE when run using
java full version "1.4.0-beta-b55"
the GUI just does not refresh correctly when a menu or button is selected.
This happens when running these Java apps (using JDK 1.4):
- the Java apps were compiled using JDK
  /usr/java1.2/bin/java -fullversion
  java full version "Solaris_JDK_1.2.2_07a"
- the Java apps were compiled using
  $ java -fullversion
  java full version "1.4.0-beta-b55"

This means we can't ship any of the Java Apps on CDE.

Steps to see the effect:
- Install s81_34 sparc ot s81_35
- /usr/dt/bin/sdtaudiocontrol
  (or /usr/dt/bin/sdtsmartcardadmin)
- Change the menu, the GUI would not refresh properly.
