The serialized form spec (serialized-form.html) is one page and is about 685K
in J2SE v1.4. This file takes about 25 secs to load (in Netscape on an Ultra).
It could also use a table of contents with a listing of packages it contains.

Suggest breaking this file down to smaller files either by adding an option
-splitserial, or by making split files the default.
Break down to one *group* of packages per file rather than one package per file.
