Steps to Reproduce.

step 1 - Install JRE b-22 on the target machine

step 2 - go to http://sqesvr.eng.sun.com/deployment1/ws/doc/proc/JPI_printing.html

step 3 - Execute test case 1 PrintBuffered_Image_Plugin

step 4 - Go to the browser's file menu and try to print the applet

step 5 - The applet does not get printed.

This problem has happened on Solaris 8 and Netscape 4.75, Solaris IA 8 and Netscape 4.7 and Windows 2000 and Netscape 4.7 and IE 5.0. The applet gets printed with the print button in the applet.

Note - This problem was seen in Netscape 6.0 before. (Bug ID. 4374448)
Bug ID. 4374448 was closed as not a bug, but a Netscape 6 limitation.

The problem is exactly the same as described by James. Using the file -> print option in browser, the applet does not get printed, only the frame gets printed.
