new 3 bigapps TPCW running on Tomcat 3.2.1, Bea Weblogic 6.0, and iPlanet
6.0 hang on windows with build 1.3.1-b24 using -server -Xcomp. These
bugs are VERY reproducable!!
Other flags (-hotspot, -hotspot -Xcomp, -server) are fine. Only c2 comp mode
need to take care.
Merlin is fine with these 4 flag combinations. So, this is only for ladybird
The hanging process will leave at "jtg-win14" with "root/admin" as
id/passwd for you guys to telnet. Please go d:\tmp\ to take a look of output
result. You can also use VNC with passwd "admin" to login.
How to run:
1. telnet to jtg-win14 with root/admin
2. switch to z:\1.3NTscripts
3. kill the exist java process by ps and kill
4. type the command as following:
sh run.tomcat stab -server -Xcomp
or
sh run.bea stab -server -Xcomp
or
sh run.iplanet stab -server -Xcomp
5. Try to telnet to that machine again (different session)
use ps to check the process is still there but no output again under
d:\tmp\xxxxx
