This bug appears to possibly be related to bug ID's - 4423062 & 4424168.
Also, this bug is currently only an issues on Solaris that we are aware of,
but seemed more appropriate to Netscape catagory. This bug report is from
Internal (GSO IT).

Our application from 3rd party vendor (Brio) utilizes the java plugin found in
JRE 1.3.1. We are finding that a resize of the browser window that occurs
during the initialization of the Java Console and/or the applet causes
the browser window to crash. There are also times when the browser does not
crash, but goes into a "frozen" state requiring the process to be killed.

This problem appears to have been introduced in the 1.3 or 1.3.1 version as it
was not previously seen.
