      java version "1.4.0-beta"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.0-beta-b65)
orig synopsis: "focus should not be drawn in file dialog buttons in Swing Win2K L&F"

Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.0-beta-b65, mixed mode)

The buttons to the left ("Documents", "Desktop", "My Computer" etc.) in file
dialogs should not have focus drawn when a user clicks them.

      ------------

      31 May 2001, eval1127@eng -- the native win2K UI shows an
"idented" look for each button, when a button is selected.
There is no additional focus indication.

The JFileChooser with Win L&F under win2k presents
a "raised" look, plus an indented focus indicator, for
a selected button. The latter is extraneous, and the former
is the exact opposite ("out"ward vs. "in"ward) of the
      native L&F on the platform.

Screen shots of both are attached to the bug report.
