During integration testing, I was able to reproduce the type-ahead blocking
problem several times. I was testing the demo applets on Linux/Enlightenment and
Solaris/intel/fvwm1. In some cases, moving focus out of the window and back a
few times cleared the type-ahead queue and focus worked again. But one time, I
could not get focus to work again no matter what I did. In all cases, I had
to bring up a dialog from the Applet menu (such as the print dialog) to
reproduce the bug. I believe Eric also ran into a type-ahead blocking bug with
Solaris/sparc/dtwm running SwingSet2.
