The NotePad demo ( http://java.sun.com/products/javawebstart/demos.html ) displays garbled characters when running in Traditional Chinese (zh_TW) enbironment.
This is similar to 4449535. The properties file(s) used for this demo included S.Chinese (zh) version. The file(s) should be named xxx_zh_CN.properties or xxx_zh_CN.java instead of xxx_zh.properties or xxx_zh.java because when running in zh_TW locale, if it cannot find zh_TW files, it will fall back to zh, but zh_TW and zh are two different languages.
