I can't say that they don't work in general, but there're cases when they dont' work.

Examples:
*FORMS (wizards,dialogs,..) TAB doesn't move focus and cursor to another widget.

*JavaCVS Popup menu(Interface mode property of JavaCVS FileSystem=Only default switches) pressing of CTRL isn't recognized, so
 the feature which change submenu and add sign '+' as a mark that it will display advance dialog. Just doesn't work.
