In IE 5.01 and 5.5, if use automatic configuration script,
and the script URL is pointing to a perl script which generates
dynamically a PAC file, the plug-in (1.3.1) is launched but
the plug-in console says no proxy is used. If the script URL points to
a static pac file, the console says it uses automatic proxy configuration.

"Use Browser Proxy setting" in the plug-in control panel is checked.

The same scenario works fine with Netscape 4.77 and 4.0.
