With Merlin build 68, atg failed with -client -Xcomp on both sparc and x86.

The first error in the
atgserver.log file is below and it doesn't start up.

Error message in atgserver.log file:

To reproduce the problem:

1. telnet to ultra2rhino
2. cd /bt
3. export JAVA_HOME=<installation directory>
4. /bs/runatg.ksh -client -Xcomp
5. cd /bt/atg*, examine atgserver.log and run.atg.out
