  The description ( javadoc comments ) of the org.w3c.dom.Node.setNodeValue() is
empty ( build jaxp-1.1.1-b24-19_jun_2001, build jdk1.4.0beta-b68 ) but it seems to
be appended to the description of the org.w3c.dom.Node.getNodeValue() -

   "public String getNodeValue() throws DOMException

     ...
     When it is defined to be null, setting it has no effect.

     Throws:
         DOMException - NO_MODIFICATION_ALLOWED_ERR: Raised when the node is
                        readonly. "
