ColorConvertOp 3X slower for LAB than for RGB

      Using java.awt.image.ColorConvertOp to convert LAB to/from sRGB is 3X
      slower than converting sRGB to/from another RGB space. The underlying
      native CMM code should run at about the same performance for these
      two cases.
